Handmade mala beads

A little about malas

Mala beads are an effective tool in your meditation practice. Each mala necklace is made with 108 beads plus the guru bead. Beads made of wood, stone, and crystals contain various healing properties. The combination of mantra repetition and carrying the crystals near bring even more opportunity for mindfulness, growth, and balance.

My malas

Many traditional malas are hand knotted between each bead. Other traditions have no knots in between, and some have spacing beads. I choose spacing beads to give the malas I create a little extra sparkle.
